Historical information Prins Willim Tall Ship Model:
The Prins Willem, a notable 17th century vessel for the Dutch East India Company and was the largest ship in their fleet at the time. Its maiden voyage began in 1651 when it sailed to the Dutch East Indies. Unfortunately the ship foundered near Madagascar in 1662. Despite this is a detailed replica of the Prins Willem was constructed in 1985 but it was destroyed by fire in 2009.
