From 1959 until its ultimate retirement in the fall of 2000 the Rotterdam sailed the seas.
After being acquired by Premier Cruises and rechristened SS Rembrandt, the vessel continued its operations until the company’s abrupt financial collapse necessitated its lay – up first in Freeport, Bahamas and later in Gibraltar.
